Register as a Rescuer

  1. Go to the Food Rescue US website at https://foodrescue.us/ and click on ‘Sign Up/Login’ at the top right corner
  2. Click on ‘Sign Up’ in the upper right-hand corner

  3. Choose which sign-up method is right for you. Sign up using the manual option or the Google option if your email address is Gmail or hosted by Google.  
    1. Enter your email address, then enter your password and repeat password boxes. Then click ‘Sign Up’

    2. Select Become a Rescuer on the role selection screen.

    3. Enter your first name, last name, and zip code in the corresponding areas and click ‘Next’.

    4. Enter your phone number and select verify. A code will then be sent to your phone via text, enter this code in the confirmation code section and select ‘Verify’. You will then receive a notification saying your phone number was successfully verified. Click ‘Next’.

    5. Click the box next to ‘I agree to the Terms of Service’ and an email will be sent to your inbox.

    6. Go to the inbox of the email address you used to sign up and find the email with the subject line ‘Welcome to Food Rescue US!’. Click the ‘Confirm Email Address’ button and you will then be taken to the welcome screen, which you should read over, and then click ‘Get Started’ to navigate to the dashboard.
